Welcome to Vietnam. Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport by your guide for private transfer to your Hanoi City.

Start your tour this morning at the mausoleum of the historic figure and father of modern Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh (viewed from the outside). Then it’s on to a wooden ethnic minority style house which was his temporary residence from 1954 to 1969. In the same complex, you will see the One Pillar Pagoda, founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 which has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Your next stop is the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. Constructed in 1070, the gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a glimpse into Vietnam’s past

At Noon, you will have lunch at local restaurant (Indian Set Menu)

In the afternoon visit your choice of the Ethnology, Vietnamese Women or National Fine Arts Museums. Time only allows for one to be visited so please decide which one you would most like to see. 

At the end of the day, take a walking tour of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, also known as the ‘36 streets’. This bustling area of narrow streets and alleys is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. It’s a great place to explore with plenty of photo opportunities all around you.

Vietnam’s capital Hanoi blends old world charm with the dynamic bustle of new Asia. Its French colonial past is evident from the colonial architecture and enchanting lakes which contrast with the throng of thousands of motorbikes and cosmopolitan new restaurants and boutiques. To the north of central Hoan Kiem Lake lies the frenetic maze of narrow streets of the Old Quarter while to the south are the broad tree-lined boulevards and majestic buildings of the French Quarter

08:30 Check out and transfer to Hai Phong (approx. 2.5hours) where you will board your boat for your overnight trip through Halong Bay. 

Spectacular Halong Bay comprises around 2000 karst limestone peaks jutting out of calm emerald waters. Designated as a World Heritage Site for its incredible natural beauty, the forested islands are dotted with caves and home to a variety of birdlife. Whether cloaked in mist or bathed in sunshine, a cruise through this beautiful bay is one of Vietnam’s highlights.

12.00 – 12.30 Embark Oriental Sails. Enjoy welcome drink and get a brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines. Check-in your cabin.

13.15 Have lunch while cruising in the magnificent Ha Long Bay, admiring the fascinating nature, then anchor at Titop Island area.

15.00 – 16.00 Join a guided visit to Sung Sot Cave (also called Amazing Cave), one of the biggest and the most beautiful cave in Ha Long Bay.

16.00 – 17.00 Climb to the peak of Titop Island for the panorama view of the bay. Going down and relaxing on the beach, swimming in the crystal water. 

17.20 Return Oriental Sails

18.00 Enjoy happy hours with various drinks on discounts. Take part in a cooking demonstration and food décor with our Chef

19.00 – 21.00 Dinner is served. Private dinner is available on requested

21.00 – 22.00 Time of second happy hours to the late night or join squid fishing with the crew, sing karaoke or just laze around or relax in your cabin.

06.30 Welcome a new day with amazing dawn on the Legendary Gulf of Tonkin. Refresh your body & soul by a Tai-chi lesson on sundeck. 

07.00 – 08.00 Catch morning view of seascapes with a cup of tea or coffee, have breakfast while charming the labyrinth of Karst.

8:00 – 9.00 Join a guided to explore hidden parts of the bay, Luon cave. You share a sampan with other tourists with a local rower or taking a kayak on your own.

09:00 Return to Oriental Sails for shower. 

09.30 Check out your room. Oriental Sails weighs the anchor to continue to roam the picturesque route toward Bai Chay Bridge for photos.

10.00 Have lunch.

11:00 Disembark. Cruise ends. 

Transfer back to Ha Noi City and and have dinner at local restaurant.

Back to hotel for check in, free and leisure at night
